2020-2021 REMOTE/ONLINE COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL BILLING TRAINING AND PROTOCOL IMPLEMENTATION
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT: This program is ONLY available as a follow up to the FAST TRACK program.
It is NOT available to offices that have only attended the Z Group two-day course and who have NOT completed the FAST TRACK program.
I. LIVE/ONLINE DIDACTIC AND MEDICAL BILLING TRAINING, INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
v Fifteen (15) hours medical billing training w/Christie Fink, Chief Implementation Officer
v Three (3) one-hour sessions, electronic billing support and troubleshooting for claims processing w/Christie Fink, Chief Implementation Officer. (Change Healthcare)
v Two (2) 30-minute sessions w/Dr. Bruce Fink, The Z Group Clinical Director, with Doctor(s) one-on-one
v One month follow up support after training is completed, w/Christie Fink, Chief Implementation Officer
Details are as follows:
a. Web-based live training with Christie Fink, 3 months (15 hours face to face):
- Correct use of routing slips, "Superbills" and their implementation
- Doctor training in medically appropriate documentation preparation for ADVANCED SURGICAL PROCEDURES
- Pre-auth phone calls with billing team members (listen in as Trainer makes the calls)
- Claim preparation, ten (10) claims and their documentation with you, start to finish, ready to submit
- 15 email questions/month (or at Christie’s discretion- save multiple questions for “Go to/Join me meeting” online call)
- Auditing cases
- Closing the case with medical billing case presentation
- Two (2) 30-minute sessions
- Medically appropriate Comprehensive Head & Neck examination of the patient
- Review the documentation preparation requirements and verbiage
- Scheduled in advance
- Follow up Claim and Portal Troubleshooting
- Templates w/Drop downs, including also Dr. Bruce/Christie Fink’s customized documents for your practice’s ease of implementation
- FOLLOW UP TO TRAINING, after the 3-month program: ONE MONTH OF SUPPORT:
e. Doctor training with W. Bruce Fink DDS, (Online LIVE, REMOTE TRAINING)
f. e-filing w/Z Group Trainer (Online live, REMOTE TRAINING)
THREE (3) one-hour sessions, to address e-filing issues and/or denials/appeals
Scheduled in advance, as needed
Three (3) phone pre-certifications
Four (4) 30-minutes phone support calls, one per week
Fifteen (15) Email questions
FEE INCLUDES THE THREE-MONTH PROGRAM AND ONE-MONTH FOLLOW UP
This FOLLOW UP Training Program to the FAST TRACK requires a non-refundable deposit, invoiced and paid through Paypal, when the Agreement is executed by both parties. The balance of the Fee is due on the 1st of the next month, following sign up and execution of the agreement. An Invoice will be sent from Paypal approximately one week before payment is due. Payment may be made through a Paypal account or by credit card. We do not keep credit cards on file for security reasons.
If the balance is not received by the first of the month, training will be suspended and all consultation/remote training canceled until payment is received.
IMPORTANT: ALL PHONE CONSULTATIONS AND ONLINE LIVE TRAINING ARE SCHEDULED IN ADVANCE WITH EACH Z GROUP CONSULTANT. Missed or canceled calls are NOT RESCHEDULED and CANNOT BE MADE UP at any point. Please understand that multiple offices are going through the same training process, simultaneously with your office. Any scheduling changes would result in a “domino effect” for all offices and a resultant scheduling nightmare.
IMPORTANT: Doctor must be present at ALL scheduled clinical sessions. Medical documentation (current protocols for SOAP notes, LMNs, Operative reports), and code selection will be discussed. These are NOT insurance sessions and NOT for the billers. This is CRITICAL to the success of the program.
Should the Doctor choose not to participate, the contract will be terminated and no refunds given.
OPTIONAL SERVICES NOT INCLUDED IN THIS PROGRAM
(Available at an extra charge if desired/requested)
*Medicare provider applications and Medicare DME applications require a separate process through the PECOS system (not through CAQH) to obtain a provider number for each type of Provider status with Medicare, if Medicare credentialing is requested by Doctor. Completing these lengthy applications is not a part of this agreement and requires a separate agreement.
*TriCare application or credentialing is not included and requires a separate agreement.
*Change Healthcare clearinghouse subscription services are not included in this agreement. The office is responsible for contacting Change Healthcare and setting up their client account/portal. It is not part of the Z Group training package. Advice will be provided by Dondra to Doctor, regarding this service, that is not affiliated in any way with The Z Group LLC.
